The top on the left
is part of an ongoing experiment. The test is whether or not this
flight suit can be the "only"
flight suit worn for the duration of my stay in Afghanistan. I can
tell you that with constant maintenance in order to maintain the suit's
serviceability coupled with multiple strategically timed hand washing
sessions this flight suit is on its 232nd consecutive day, as of 4
Aug 2009, of being worn.
With a mere 70 days remaining I am confident that the experiment will be
a success. Why did I decide to conduct this experiment? That
is a question that can never be answered.
